Alien Mouth,
This is the mouth for my 8ft Giger’s Alien replica I am making, the full statue will stand upright and have its tail circling up threw the legs. It is a nod to the way Harry Dean Stanton (Brett) was killed in the original film. The hands will be in a forward grasping position similar to the way they were in the air ducts when Dallas (captine) was caught by the Alien.
I am making this replica in sections and then assembling them together. The rest of the head will be two separate units, the long pines like head and the clear dome. All the seams will be blended in and I intend to post the separate parts on my profile as I complete them. This will all be latex skins on wooden and dry foam core supports.
By making the statue this way the various units lend them selves very well to being made in to a costume or adapted in to a current costume.

The mouth you are looking at comes in two separate sections, upper jaw and tongue and lower jaw, all latex, painted with rubber inks with expanding foam supporting the latex.

Well thank you, I have sculpted the hand so will make the mould for that soon and then the head and body, arms, legs in that order. thanks for the comment :-)
